What is an expired match?

An expired match is a competitor listing that has not refreshed for X days (your program defines this threshold).

Expired matches usually mean:

  • The listing no longer exists

  • The retailer changed the URL

  • The page structure changed

  • The product is discontinued

  • There’s a temporary extraction issue

Where you’ll see expired matches

Expired matches appear in:

  • The Products Tab table

  • SKU Details table

  • Reports

Why they matter

Expired matches skew your data by:

  • Showing outdated prices

  • Inflating competitor counts

  • Hiding new listings

  • Misrepresenting availability

How to resolve expired matches

  • Review the expired competitor listing via the SKU Details Page.

  • If it’s no longer relevant → Remove or replace the match.

  • If it still exists → Use Find Match to add the updated retailer URL.

  • For large-scale → Contact your CSM to review match health across your catalog.

Admin tools for match management

Your account administrators can:

  • Adjust the expiration threshold

  • Review all expired matches in bulk

  • Set user roles for who can manage matches
