Using the Add Match and Find Match features

Updated over a month ago

Using the Find Match Feature

The Find Match tool lets you search for competitor listings directly within the platform. You can access it from any SKU’s detail page by clicking the Find Match button in the top right.

How Find Match Works

  • Click Find Match on the Product Details page. This launches the on-demand search interface.

  • Select a retailer from the dropdown. Note: You will only see retailers included in your configuration. If you’re missing a retailer you expect to see, or would like to add a retailer to your list, contact your CSM.

  • Enter product title keywords, brand names, or model numbers

  • Browse results: the system retrieves live results from monitored retailers.

  • For each result, you can choose to Add as Exact Match or Add as Equivalent Match

  • Matches are added instantly and appear in your SKU’s competitor table.

Using the Add Match feature

The Add Match tool lets you add your own matches, directly within Price Intelligence. You can access it from any SKU’s detail page by clicking the Add Match button in the top right.

How Add Match Works

  • Click Add Match on the Product Details page.

  • Enter the Product Page url for the product you want to match.

  • Decide if you want to Add as Exact Match or Add as Equivalent Match

  • Matches are added instantly and appear in your SKU’s competitor table.

When to use Add and Find Match

Use these functionalities when you need to:

  • Expand your competitive coverage

  • Add missing competitor listings

  • Replace outdated matches

  • Validate whether competitors have launched new variants

  • Investigate missing or expired matches flagged in reports

Tips & Best Practices

  • Use consistent naming or attribute keywords (model numbers work best).

  • Review search results carefully before selecting match type.

  • Only assign Equivalent Matches when the product differences don’t materially affect pricing intent.
