Understanding the Products View

Updated today

The Products view is the foundation of MAP enforcement.

It shows every product included in your MAP program, along with its identifiers, MAP pricing, and monitoring status. This view defines which products are actively monitored for violations and how they are evaluated across retailers and sellers.

Before promotions, enforcement, or reporting can occur, products must exist and be correctly configured here.

Each row in the Products table represents a single product in your MAP catalog.

From this view, you can review key product information, including:

  • Product name and status

  • SKU, UPC, and other identifiers used for matching

  • Manufacturer and brand details

  • MAP price by currency

  • Total listings and total sellers

  • Last seen activity date

This information helps you understand both the pricing rules for each product and how widely it is being sold across the market.

Viewing products by status

Use the tabs at the top of the page to switch between:

  • All: A complete view of every product in your MAP catalog.

  • Monitored: Products actively included in MAP violation checks.

  • Retired: Products no longer monitored but retained for reference and historical context.

Switching between these views helps you focus on active enforcement while maintaining visibility into products that have been removed from monitoring.

When to use the Products View

Use the Products view when you want to:

  • Define or update MAP pricing

  • Confirm which products are actively monitored

  • Validate product identifiers used for matching

  • Prepare products for upcoming promotions

  • Understand product exposure across sellers and listings

Products serve as the baseline for all MAP enforcement activity. Promotions and violations build on the rules established here.
